Bible Study

I have come to the conclusion that I need to keep up with blogging. It would be wonderful to go back a couple years from now and see how much my faith has grown and how far I have come in life.

Well, tonight was our first night back to bible study. We haven't been going like we use to every single Tuesday for a long time now. Probably before I started working at the post office; which was quite a long time ago. I am so happy tonight went as well as it did. For Kye I mean. He was excellent on how he behaved! It's not the ideal place for a toddler, with there being no toys or a huge place to run around but there is something that he absolutely loves there; puppies! The Showard's have two little puppies which Kye loves dearly. He goes back and forth to their cage to keep checking on them. It's so cute.

However, I just love being around this group of strong people. They are so encouraging and open. They make me feel so welcomed as soon as I walk in the door. That is, after they say hi to Kye and then notice ME! Haha. I am used to that though.
I have learned so much from them and am continuing to learn more. I learn something new every time I am able to be completely focused and hear what Mr. Bill is teaching on.
I introduced myself to a book that Mr. Bill said he refers back to when he is studying a certain book in the Bible. It is like a commentary which explains the Bible in depth which helps interpret every little detail about what is being taught. I'm really interested in it and hope that I can find this book to have for my own to refer back to when I am having trouble understanding.
SN: Some times I wish I could be able to just go to Barnes & Noble every now and then to just be able to have some quiet time to myself and be able to read. I would be able to focus so much more. Just being in that environment at B&N is so relaxing and peaceful. I could never make that happen with Kye though, that boy is a wild child. Hopefully one day I could be able to enjoy sitting down in a quiet place and be able to have reference to any book I need to help me learn a little more.
I really pray that this will keep up and I will continue to go every Tuesday night. It is such a blessing to be able to be a part of this bible study that I can call my own and to learn so much.
