I honestly believe the worse way to offend God is by falling away from Him and losing your faith. Christ died for us and loved us even before we had a chance to love Him, yet He did it anyway. He went through a terrible crucifixion so that we won't even have to see death. By falling away from God after gaining such a strong faith in Him is just like we  are crucifying Christ all over again. He gave us the ability to have faith in Him and we once grew so close to Him and we decided to throw it all away. I never thought I would have these words describe my life. I have been tested with certain situations. Not was I tested, but I put myself in situations were I didn't think I was so weak. I really thought I had changed and would never fall away from God. It was easy to think this because I never put myself in situations where that could happen. I started to fall away from God and a part of me was just letting it happen. Don't we all experience that moment some where in life where we can just stop and say 'I'm completely happy with how things are going.'  God is so good! He answers prayers and provides us with everything we will ever need from Him. God has given me the biggest blessings over these past few months. My faith in Him has grown enormously. There is nothing more that I can ask for. I serve the most awesome God who has given me the most blessed life I could ask for. I never imagined being this happy but I entrusted God with my life and what else could I expect but to be truly happy?! I am so in love and on fire for God! That's the best thing we can do and be. Our relationship with God is the start of a brand new life. Today is a new beginning. In order to fully surrender to God we need to give our whole heart to Him; giving Him all of our being. Let God know that everything you have is now His. It always has been from the beginning but you need to give Him full control of it now. Stop trying to run your life and let The One who knows you best take control.  It's so important to keep in prayer. That's one of the most important points of this relationship with God. By keeping in prayer with God it shows that we trust and believe in Him. We trust Him with everything that we bring before Him in prayer.  We need to 'get rid of our sin' and leave them in the past. Those sin can no longer rule our life. When they were ruling our life the only way it was taking you is further away from God. We need to start living for God and leave our selfish ways behind us by allowing no evil to overtake us.   By fully surrendering to God, we will be strong and have no fear. Today was a great opportunity to practice this life lesson; making others happy. It's so easy to make the people you love and have a really good relationship with happy! But when you are finally at that point in life that you just want to make everyone happy, that's when your true happiness takes place in your life.  I will always say I never thought things would of turned out the way they are turning out for my little family and extended family. I always saw myself, since I had Kye, as a single mother doing this all by myself and being miserable about the situation I was in. It's crazy how different this really is turning out to be. I can easily go over to Kye's father's place to just hang out with his fiance and new baby just like we are all friends. It feels like I just have another group of friends to hang out with. Has it ever happened in your life when you tried to take control of a situation and it didn't work out the way you wanted to, so you just gave up? How about, have you ever went through a situation where you were in control and you saw it didn't turn out how you wanted it to so you turned to God and He brought you through it with a better overcome that you could have even imagine?! Some times we need this to happen to just show us that we can not do anything unless through Christ first. This post won't have much to do about scripture it self but it will profess how wonderful my God is! I want to share how God has been working in my life and that His timing is always perfect, even when it feels like He might have forgotten about your prayer. I want to share this to let you know that God is here for you and also so I have this to look back on as a reminder that this life isn't operated by my plans, but God's. These past two months have been life changing for me and my son. We are experiencing so many new things and learning so much about others. I have been praying for 2 years for two certain things; my son's father would be in his life more and for God to bring a Christian man into my life. These were the two things I felt would be the most beneficial for my son and myself. I wanted to share a testimony about my past week. I was struggling financially and wasn't so sure how I was going to be able to make it through the week. I knew I had a couple things that had to get done but I just didn't know how I was going to make that happen. While listening to K-Love one day I heard this quote by Francis Anfuso : 'Do you feel like your prayers aren't being answered? What percentage of prayers initiated by God are answered? 100%! What percentage of prayers initiated by me are answered? None. Hmm? Sounds like there’s a pattern here. The Bible promises, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” (1 John 5:14-15) God has already figured out what is best for every part of your life. Trust Him! Stop asking God to do things that are in your heart, and start asking Him to do...
