Arma..who?



How will the AntiChrist be seen? Us, Christians have the Father, Son and The Holy Spirit. In the same sense the AntiChrist will be the exact opposite. Satan as the father (God), the AntiChrist as the son (Jesus Christ), and lastly the False Prophet as the Holy Spirit. That is just an example of how our trinity will be similar to Satan's. Pastor Greg Laurie describes the AntiChrist as 'Satan's son' on earth. Imagine Hitler, but controlling the whole world! 
The AntiChrist will be seen as a man of peace. Some one who will be trying to get everyone together. Making one currency (New World Order). You will be forced to wear the symbol of the beast, Pastor Greg Laurie explains those tracking microchips, cell phones and GPS's as a symbol. 
Pastor Greg Laurie talks about why America isn't mentioned in the end times. Maybe there will be a nuclear attack against us or maybe it's because most of America's population will be raptured since we will be a part of the great revival. He also states that he believes the rapture will occur before Armageddon. We will already be in the kingdom of God before all of this takes place. 
With the past seven sermons Pastor Greg Laurie has taught on all have been related to the end times. What is yet to come. It is believed that the end is near! Very near and he explains all of that in more depth. This has always been a touchy subject for me to describe so I'll leave it to Pastor to teach it. Www.harvest.org
However, how exciting will this time be. I know I'm exciting. I'm excited for the rapture. How awesome will that moment be?! I'll always remember when my Pastor preached on this message. All of God's chosen just ascending to heaven to be with God. Pastor John Grove said, and I'm paraphrasing, 'As we are rising with all of our beloved Christians, we'll be high-fiving each other!' How exciting! 

I recommend everyone to either read or listen to Pastor Greg Laurie's sermon series. To some, it might seem frightening and to some it might be exciting. Either way it's true and it's coming...soon! Are you prepared? When the tribulation times come, will you be on God's side? That's why is suggest you listen to these sermons. Pastor Greg Laurie will teach you and guide you through what is coming.

The 'Traditional Family'

Tuesday while listening to Greg Laurie, he said something that really hit home and I began to feel sad, upset, hurt and even a little angry. This is what he said and I quote  "The idea of a traditional family seems to be something of the past. So many broken homes today... We have to visit dad and his new wife and we have to visit mom and her new boyfriend and I have all these new step brothers and sisters and the whole thing is sort of...icky. Uncomfortable. Awkward." -Greg Laurie  Well Pastor Greg, you hit that one spot on. Before he made that quote he addressed that there are broken home in the result of divorce. However, to be in that situation he described doesn't always have to be the result of a divorce. Who Are We?

I listened to a sermon on the 4th and I have been trying to put all my thoughts together to write a post about it because it was so meaningful for me. It helped me realize a lot about myself and my faith. I am still trying to get all my ducks in a row for that post but I just wanted to give a little bit of encouragement. It seems like most sermons preached lately are about this craziness but out of that craziness there is a lot to learn! In Exodus 13-16 we read about how Pharaoh finally let the Israelites out of Egypt. All the Isrealites wanted was to be let go and what was one of the first things they did when they got out of Egypt? They complained. They started complaining about how they 'missed' things from Egypt.  Exodus 16:3 says   The Israelites said to them, “If only we had died by the  Lord ’s hand in Egypt!  There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food  we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.”
